This is a large piece that I made last year. It has over 44,000 beads. I loved making this frog. Learned how to make the bubbles around the picture from Robin Atkins book "Heart to Hands Bead Embroidery." Great book!!!!!! I took a piece of fabric for the water, burned the egdes and put it on a painted canvas. The frog was stuffed and is beaded on the bottom and the front.

How could you even approximate how many beads are in this piece. WOW!!! It seems daunting, put that way. What a lovely, charming froggie and I love the "bubbles!" Thanks for the mention of my book... makes me so happy when I hear it's been inspirational for you! Hugs, Robin
