A few years ago we were on our way to Banff , Alberta and I took a picture of the foothills between Calgary and Canmore. This piece is mostly silk that I dyed and cut, burned and put together. I did a little painting on top and embroidered the rest.

When you started to blog, you really did it in a big way. Congratulations. I like the piece. It reminds me of going to Calgary. It was fun to look at all the posts.

OMG! What an artist you are!!!! Whether I see it small (perspective, texture, sense of place) or large (detail of embroidery and color), it is outstanding! Obviously a place you love... I feel the heart in it so strongly. Hugs, Robin A

Very nice work. You put it all together so nicely to make the scene.
